Bergen, Kirchweg (OSM)
This is the former cemetery, now a well kept green, with the wall in the middle ground. There are no publicly available documents when the graveyard was given up, but it must have happened many decades ago – in Germany you usually rent the space for the grave for twelve years and quite often people extend that period for another or even more periods. So there must have been a decision not to allow new burials here quite some time ago, and when the last grave was given up the graveyard was decommissioned and converted in its current form.
