Fascinating. The „stance“ of the tree growing from the steep hill combined with the general setting of the shot is almost disorienting and definitely draws attention.
Thanks, Carl. Place and light simply were fabulous and the conversion to monochrome not even tricky once I understood that there is enough differentiation from the backlighted leaves to the sky. And I managed to refrain from pushing up the contrast. Let’s see how this prints then…
