contrary to the common beliefs (read the landscapist for details, especially the nonsense about ‚hue and saturation to the max‘) what the ‚beautiful pictures crowd‘ does, i was working with the saturation slider in negative direction. the forenoon light, evened out by some clouds, made the spirea glow, so i could reduce the corkscrew hazel to just some decorative silhouettes. probably i should blame it on someone else, maybe (quote again) the creator got it wrong.
Careful, Markus! You don't want to incur the wrath of the Master of Reality!
Glowing indeed! Apparently Mark Hobson generates heat enough to fire up dozens of photographers. 😉
Paul, thanks for the warning. When I wrote this entry, it seems that I had forgotten about the danger that the self appointed master could bring upon me :))
@Juha: There are many interesting things to be found on Mark's blog, but I find his condescendence apalling – and I don't think he needs this.
Mark must be Ken Rockwells evil twin… 😉
Thomas, I would not valorize Ken Rockwell that much…
I gave up on that blog a long time ago; there is just too much good stuff out there to waste time rummaging in the dregs.
