   Maybe it’s just that I’m in a „color head“ at the moment, but this lept out at me compared to the mono shots that preceded it. Same careful observation of fog effects, but the color variation just adds something more.

      Carl, without doubt there are different sensitive spots for color and monochrome. I can‘t say why that quiet, almost ascetic composition of the previous image works so well for me, but undoubtedly that golden light creates a vibrating presence here. At the moment, for me the pendulum swings to the black and white side for me – putting the viewfinder in that mode supports my perception of forms – but color is certainly always present.
