      Thanks, John! Those last minutes in Essen were worth it, when a completely unspectacular place suddenly came into life.

      You are right, Michael. I spent maybe 30 seconds there, heading for the train, and already had one static image when I saw that pedestrian approaching. My camera is most of the time set for a slow speed in the ’speed priority‘ mode, so I had to just switch to get that interesting motion blur in the passer-by. (Which additionally saved my a**, as laws of privacy forbid to take pictures of people in public without their consent, if they are identifiable in the image)
