   I’ve been enjoying all your photos, Markus, but these recent ones, of Florence, bring back wonderful memories of a visit there a few years ago. I’d love to return one day, during a cooler period then when we visited before, and spend some extended time exploring. But until then I’ll enjoy your fine work!

      I am glad you enjoyed the Florence photographs! The stay there was prolific, even if I didn’t go into the Uffizii. It is a good idea to return to Florence off-season – in August the city seemed to drown in tourists!
