   I guess that you are now a member of the German-American Hydrantology Society! That makes four members. Our founder, who doesn’t really know it, is Carl Weese. Martina and I have participated for years. We even met in Provence this summer and went to Arles for the Rencontres. There are some pictures on my Provence blog of her capturing a hydrant before I had a chance;-) Anyway, welcome and nice shot.

      James, thanks for the warm welcome! Hydrants fascinate me as street elements quite some time already, and I definitely should find the time to give them a category of their own in my blog.
