    My first impression before reading your caption was that it looked rather menacing. The burnt plastic has a skull-like appearance, maybe just the angle you chose to photograph it. Must be a horrible and lastingly painful torture. I remember melting plastic milk jugs as a kid and watching the flaming drips with fascination – they also emit a screeching (for lack of a better word) sound as they fall through the air.

      Michael, mankind is pretty imaginative when it comes to invent torturing methods… and many of those African despots try to surpass each other in mistreating their population. It’s almost a wonder that people muster up the energy to create art.
