After long years of flawless performance (if the wordpress counter is correct, this post is #3002), my hosting provider had a fine surprise for me: A corrupted wordpress database due to a hardware failure sent the blog into hibernation for 2 days. Thanks to an up-to-date database backup, only one post and one comment were lost. The post is restored herewith, and blogging will resume again.
