Oh yes, I like this.
You’re most welcome, Cedric! In fact, this was like an unexpected almost-midnight present to me, when I returned from setting up just another backup system on a friend’s computer. So my weary eyes were more than glad to find that shop window looking much more interesting now at night.
A wonderful juxtaposition between organic life and the man made world. And I love the colour palette, it so descriptive and fitting to the subject.
Thanks, Otto. This playing with illusions of what Europeans might expect from Asian cities I think is deeply revealing, and in this image I hope to have captured both the hope for delicate nature as the artificiality of urban life, transported in those fine colours that still are attractive and soothing at the same time, while rendered this way they shouldn’t deliver the viewer into the trap of deception.

Danke, Florian. Eine gewisse Müdigkeit, das Nachlassen der Anspannung von der Arbeit des Tages lässt manchmal die Augen aufgehen, und dann geschieht mehr, als man gemeinhin in einer nächtlich-leeren Kleinstadt-Fussgängerzone erwarten würde.
