The green of the trees is astonishing, as if the foliage were lit from within. And the rocky hill provides a sparse background to the abundance of green.
Juha, it was probably this thunderstorm sky, providing a unusual light just before it started the rain. But the fresh green of beeches is really strong, in my eyes comparable only to young rice plants.
