Looks like one of the shops where the owner really bakes the bread himself … we have only one left in Mainz (as far as I know).
I like the atmosphere – it’s so typical German.
Yes, for me too, even the smell is contained in the image. But I don’t know that place by daylight, I was just waiting there for the tramway for some minutes and couldn’t hold the urge to make a picture or two.
I bet there is a shelf on the other wall with Dosenmilch and Paniermehl. And the one or other bar of Schogetten.
