Vandal is the brand name for a product family of moth poison and traps. The presence of this name in that freshly renovated room in the monastery I found a bit bizarre.

Your are correct about the mixed meaning of the name and the formal rooms. Interesting photos.
Thanks, Jeff. Being in a guided group, even it’s all photographers, imposes certain limits, especially time-related ones. And as I didn’t want to document only, I tried to divert a bit from the standard views.
